  • As diaper rash can occur with too much moisture, take off your baby’s diaper and allow the baby to lie naked, preferably on a blanket or towel most of the time. This gets rid of moisture buildup and aids in clearing up the rash.
  • A combination of cornstarch and Vaseline has been found to work effectively as a diaper rash home remedy. Apply on the rashes after cleaning your baby. You should see positive results in a couple of days.
  • You can also try tying a loose cloth diaper to let air circulate. This remedy can help you in diaper rash naturally.
  • Change diapers frequently and also use different types of diaper as some babies have sensitive skin and may not tolerate readymade disposables. Use cloth diapers or perfume free disposables. This is an effective home remedy for diaper rash.
  • In a tub filled with warm water, mix two tablespoons baking soda and give your baby a sitz bath for about ten minutes, thrice a day.
  • Aloe vera can safely be used for diaper rash home remedies. Use aloe vera baby wipes to relieve your baby from diaper rash. It has antifungal and antibacterial properties. It also soothes skin irritations.
  • Home remedies for diaper rash also include oatmeal which has properties that help heal the skin. Add oatmeal to baby’s bath water. Let the baby soak in this water for about fifteen minutes. Take a soft towel, pat dry and moisturize.
  • Apply vegetable oil to your child’s bottom as it works efficiently as a diaper rash natural treatment.

Also, it is worth pointing out that prevention is a good remedial measure, so that diaper rashes don’t happen in the first place.
