What is Gingivitis?

The prime cause of gingivitis (dental condition) is plaque deposit (sticky material found on exposed part of your teeth).   • A good mouth wash after brushing helps in eliminating plaque formation.
  • Rinse your mouth with water soaked peppermint leaves.
  • Rub clove oil on your gums to get relief from gingivitis. You may face some discomfort in form of mild burning sensation but it is an effective gingivitis home remedy.
  • Take some fresh guava leaves and boil in a cup of water for about ten minutes. Let it cool. Use the resulting liquid as a mouth wash. It is among one of the best gingivitis natural treatment.
  • Include vegetables and fresh fruits rich in vitamin C in your daily diet, as poor nutrition and a lack of vitamin and nutrients makes you more prone to this dental condition.
  • Make pulp from aloe vera leaves and gently rub it on your gums. This is among effective home remedies for gingivitis.
  • Mix one teaspoonful of baking soda in a bowl of water. Stir properly and apply solution to your gums with your dipped fingers. Once applied, brush thoroughly.

Make it a habit to brush and floss regularly. This is the simplest and most effective natural treatment for gingivitis.
