Headache: An Introduction

A headache is pain orTension and stress are typical headaches causes discomfort in the head, scalp, or neck. Even when headaches do not have a serious cause, they may be quite painful and disrupt your daily activities.

Symptoms of headache are three times more common in women than in men. These are often severe and can last for few hours or can linger for days. Headaches involve mild to severe pain in one or more parts of the head as well as the back of the neck.

Tension and stress are common headaches causes and they are transitory in nature. Headaches are also associated with systemic diseases, fevers and other diseases.

Natural Home Remedies for Headache

Here are some natural treatments for headache and remedies which are very productive, rendering quick relief from head pain.

  • Cinnamon can be used to treat headaches naturally, which result due to cold air. Make a fine paste in water. Apply it over your head and you will start feeling well.
  • Henna flowers are effective for headache caused due to a hot scorching sun. Make a paste of henna flowers in vinegar and then apply it on your forehead. It gives you quick relief from pain.
  • Remove upper rind and the inner hard portion of an apple, add salt eat it in morning for a week.  It is considered to be one of the most beneficial headache home remedies.
  • Juice of three to four slices of lemon squeezed in a cup of tea can be helpful in treating this condition. Lemon crusts should be pounded into a fine paste in a mortar and must be applied to forehead. It gives immediate relief and can be used as a very effective headache natural treatment.
  • Blanching five to seven rosemary leaves in a cup of boiling water. Add some honey, wait three minutes, and drink.
  • Pour one cup of boiling water to two teaspoons of marjoram. Wait for five to ten minutes and then drink. This is among very useful natural remedy for headache.
  • Slice peeled cucumbers and apply the slices to your forehead.  Drink one or two cups of peppermint tea. These are very popular home remedies for headache.

Above remedies are generally very responsive in nature. They help provide better results and have no side effects whatsoever.
