An individual with atychiphobia may experience a range of symptoms that occur in other similar types of phobia. One may get overly anxious and this may cause a panic attack.

Those who dread failure may exhume themselves in planning, plotting & putting in a lot of effort and taking extreme measures so as to avoid failure.

Here are some of the atychiphobia symptoms:

  • Rapid pulse
  • Chest tightness or pain
  • Raping breathing
  • Nausea
  • Trembling
  • Nervousness
  • Feeling of dread
  • Shortness of breath
  • Profuse sweating

Atychiphobia Treatment

Treatment for this phobia is highly customized is case specific. Additionally, treatment may go on for months or years before the patient experiences significant improvement.

By and large, psychological counseling is viewed to be an effective treatment option for atychiphobia.

Initially, atychiphobia treatment may involve use of medications. This is done to bring about relief in symptoms & to implement other methods. In due course, use of medications will eventually be discontinued.
